The Oyster3 Global is a long-life, ultra-rugged battery-powered GPS device designed for global asset tracking applications. It offers cellular 4G LTE Cat 1bis with 2G fallback for seamless global connectivity, adaptive tracking technology for energy conservation, waterproof and rugged IP68 housing, and user-replaceable Energizer Lithium batteries, ensuring 8+ years of life.

The IP-68-rated housing is rugged and UV-stable, so the Oyster 3 Global can be mounted on assets exposed to rain, dust, and marine conditions.
The Oyster 3 Global offers real-time tracking and can operate in ultra-low power modes by utilising the latest technology, including asset tracking software. With an incredible battery life of up to 4 years, the Oyster Global can be attached to assets and tracked without changing batteries. The Oyster 3 Global has built-in antennas for GPS reception, a 3D accelerometer, a high-performance GPS that can track using GPS and GLONASS satellites simultaneously, and flash memory for storing non-volatile information.
The Oyster 3 uses 3 x AA 1.5V “off-the-shelf” lithium batteries. These are available at retail outlets from manufacturers like Energizer. Industrial 1.5V Lithium AA batteries are also available.
Energizer Lithium batteries have excellent performance and capacity, allowing the Oyster 3 Global to operate in extreme temperatures and climatic conditions that other tracking devices cannot.
