Yes. The G150 switches to Iridium® satellite fallback and sends location updates every 30 minutes when mobile signal is lost. This keeps you informed even in remote areas.
- Can I track run-hours or trip data over satellite?▼

No. Run-hours, speed, and trip data are only recorded and reported while in mobile coverage. Satellite fallback only transmits basic GPS location updates.
- How often does the G150 send updates over Iridium?▼

While out of mobile coverage, the G150 sends a satellite location ping every 30 minutes. These continue automatically until mobile coverage resumes.
- Is the G150 waterproof and suitable for marine use?▼

Yes. The G150 is IP67-rated, making it waterproof, dustproof, and suitable for offshore, marine, and aquaculture environments.
- What power source does the G150 require?▼

The G150 is a hardwired tracker that operates on 8–36V power. It includes an internal backup battery to continue tracking briefly if main power is lost.
- Does the G150 support alerts or geofences?▼

Yes. In mobile coverage, it supports alerts for geofence breaches, speed, ignition events, and more. Over satellite, only basic location tracking is available.
