Saft’s LSH cylindrical primary lithium cells are all based on Lithium-Thionyl chloride (Li-SOCl2) chemistry, which perfectly suits the high-energy and high-voltage requirements of the Remora3 long-life GPS Tracker in a wide range of temperatures.
Spiral LSH cells are designed for long-term applications (2 to 10+ years), and we recommend them for the Remora3 battery-powered GPS tracker, featuring low background currents and periodic pulses (typically in the 50 mA to 2 A range) and applications requiring continuous currents from 0.1 A to 1.8 A.
The LSH range has a spiral construction and includes specific models that can operate at high temperatures in mining, oil and gas applications, for example. The cells are designed for applications requiring pulses as high as 4 A.
