ZOLEO Monthly Plans
Location Share+ enables ZOLEO track users to share their location with their check-in contacts, on a user-selected interval from every 6 minutes to 4 hours. ZOLEO users and check-in recipients will be able to use the free ZOLEO app to view the current location and breadcrumb trail on a map. ZOLEO users can start/stop location sharing any time, and also download maps for use offline. Location Share+ is an optional add-on subscription* that includes unlimited Location Share+ and check in messages!

ZOLEO is designed to work with your phone or tablet, extending your messaging coverage to everywhere on Earth by transmitting messages over the Iridium satellite network when you’re beyond mobile coverage zones, and via cellular or Wi-Fi when available.
It is perfect for messaging connectivity in the Australian Outback, on remote roads, on the oceans, in the Polar Regions, or anywhere in the world where cellular coverage is unavailable or unreliable.

When your ZOLEO device is turned off and another ZOLEO App user sends you a message, the message will still be delivered via the ZOLEO App on your phone or tablet.
This is a bit unique. Other satellite communicators only deliver messages when the device is on and connected to the satellite network.

When the device is used standalone, without the app, ZOLEO supports check-in and SOS alerting via the built-in buttons.
ZOLEO needs to be Bluetooth connected with the ZOLEO App on your phone or tablet for two-way messaging, two-way SOS, to receive DarkSky weather forecasts or to share your GPS location in any message.

Just like your mobile phone, ZOLEO needs an active service plan in order to transmit messages via the Iridium satellite network.
Unlike mobile network providers, with ZOLEO you have the option to suspend your plan when it’s not in use, and you can also change or cancel plans online when needed.

Activation fees: A $40 activation fee applies when activating your ZOLEO device.
Monthly fee: After the initial 3-month term, your subscription will auto-renew monthly until suspended or cancelled. The total minimum cost of your service throughout your term can be calculated by taking your monthly plan fee x 3 months, plus the one-time activation fee and does not include any excess usage chargers which may be incurred by the user.
Suspension: After your initial 3-month term, you may suspend your plan when not in use for just $6.50 per month. While suspended, your account remains active and preserves your ZOLEO email address and SMS number, but your device will not transmit messages, including SOS alerts. Suspensions are limited to once per monthly bill cycle. Unsuspend online anytime with no activation fee.
Basic Plan $32 x 3 months + $40 activation fee = $136.
In Touch Plan $55 x 3 months + $40 activation fee = $205.
Unlimited Plan $80 x 3 months + $40 activation fee = $280.

Yes, it is easy to lend ZOLEO to a friend or colleague. When you do, your dedicated ZOLEO SMS number and email are associated with the device, and whomever is connected to it at the time.
Any usage will be associated with your ZOLEO monthly plan and decremented or charged accordingly.

If your ZOLEO device is no longer being used and will not be used for an extended period of time, you may wish to cancel your monthly plan until a later time. To cancel your monthly plan, you’ll need to visit the ZOLEO website and log in to your account from your smartphone, tablet, or computer web browser. Your monthly plan cannot be canceled using the ZOLEO app.
Canceling Your Monthly Plan:
1. Login at https://www.zoleo.com/ then select My Account (use the User icon located on the top right).
2. Select the Devices & Plans tab.
3. Your ZOLEO device(s) will appear. Expand the desired device you wish to cancel service for by using the drop-down next to the device name.
4. Select Deactivate and a confirmation prompt will appear asking if you would like to proceed. Note If canceling within your 90-day contract term, an early cancellation fee will apply.
5. Select Deactivate to confirm and then press Done.
6. You will receive a confirmation email once your plan cancellation is complete.
When you deactivate:
Your ZOLEO device will no longer transmit messages via satellite
You will still be able to use your ZOLEO App for sending and receiving app-to-app messages over cellular and Wi-Fi networks.
Your ZOLEO SMS number and email address will be disconnected and you may not be able to revive these for future use.
An activation fee will be charged to restart the service
